Recently I was thinking of this psalm. I’m very familiar with it and almost overlooked what the Lord was wanting to show me.
Stillness is usually thought of as lack of action. It felt like the Father allowed me to feel a pause after the word “still” and I heard Him ask “Still what?” When I thought of everything weighing on my heart, I started to think about how I could be still while I wait for Him to perform something beautiful.
Today, I’m choosing to be:
Still loving…
Still hoping…
Still trusting…
Still forgiving…
What would be your “still”?
