The Garden Fun Run / 5K 2021

Lace up your running or walking shoes and join us on November 20, 2021 at Tyger River Park in Duncan for our second annual Fun Run/5K!! This year our Fun Run and 5K will be separate events. The Fun Run will be just for kids, and the 5K will be a timed race with awards for the winners in each category listed in the details below. In addition to the races we will have a bounce house for the kids, a prize basket raffle, and a DJ for entertainment.

The Garden 5K
Check in will begin at 8:15 am on “The Great Lawn”, with the 5K race starting at 9 am. Participants will complete the 5K course using the fitness trail located around the perimeter of the park.

The Garden Fun Run
Check in will begin at 9:30 am on “The Great Lawn”, with the Fun Run starting at 10:30 am. This event is for kids 12 and under. Participants will complete a 1 mile fun run around the perimeter of The Great Lawn. This event will not be timed. Participants will complete the course while our DJ keeps them engaged and moving with some fun music.

Awards
The awards ceremony for The Garden 5K will be held around 10:15 am on The Great Lawn. Awards will be given for top male and female in the following age groups: 13-17, 18-29, 30-49, 50 & above. Awards need to be picked up after the race as we are not able to ship.
