This past year or two has been so difficult for almost every family I know. It just seems like if it’s not one thing, it’s another. Loss, sickness, difficulty, confusion, family/marital strain— you name it! And these things have been contrary to what the Father wants for us and our families. The onslaught of difficulty had left me feeling weak and weary, frustrated and feeble. But some very insightful friends reminded me that it’s often our weakest moments that heaven breaks through.
We experience the love of Christ in a whole new way when it’s all that sustains us.
This scripture is my prayer for every single Garden family. I want you to know that our team is praying that “you be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being”. We are praying over your homes, children, spouses and work places. We are covering you when it seems that the enemy will not relent and peace seems elusive. We have seen the goodness of God enough to know that His abundant love will sustain you and you will “know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:19)
This year will be a year of revelation of the Father’s love as we are strengthened in the Spirit. Regardless of our circumstances, I pray that we will be a people who are rooted and grounded in His love. (Ephesians 3:17)
