Are you ready for unexpected circumstances?
Father God doesn’t promise a life of ease, but He does promise that He will help us and always be with us. By spending time with Him through prayer and reading His word, He gives you what you need to make it through—no matter what comes your way. Currently I am going through something, and when I asked the Father why this specific trial was happening, He immediately brought James 1:2-3 to my mind, “Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
After thinking on the words in that verse, Father reminded me of one I learned when I was a child. “I can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. It’s amazing how we can read and learn different verses, but in the midst of our trials, the Father reminds us of them to bring new meaning and strength to our lives.
This is what I know: when we pray and ask Him anything, He will answer. He is always speaking and we can hear Him through His word. He is the one that gives us the strength to make it through any unexpected circumstance that we face.
